4th April 2011 Windsurfing: Cooden Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 20mph Surf / Sea State: Bump n jump Air Temperature: Ok Sea Temperature: Ok Weather: Dry, sunny, windy but getting dark Max Speed: Distance Covered: After work session, out the office bang on 5.30pm, arrived at cooden, rapid rigging, into wetsuit and launched by 6.10pm. Went 5.7m on freewave 95, one run out and back and decided it'd be a good idea to give the Nano11 125 a quick spin .... Really impressed with it, seemed to really fly even with just a 5.7m Ice for propulsion .... Jumped ok too ... Didn't feel like it'd trip up in chop, was loose enough to do a bit of backside wiggling freeride stylee .... Popped onto plane easy enough too .... Pretty much ticked all boxes :) Session forced to end due to impending darkness ... But good to be able to score a brief afterwork session |
